Grove Takedown Club

The purpose of your Walnut Grove High School Wrestling Booster Club is to support and promote the wrestling program through fundraising, volunteer efforts, and community engagement. We enhance awareness and enthusiasm for the program by organizing events, recruiting sponsors, promoting athletes through social media and local outreach, and fostering school and community spirit. Our efforts ensure a positive experience for all wrestlers while helping the program grow and succeed.

David Wisley

President

Currently serving the booster club in his third year, with two prior years as founding Treasurer. Proud parent of senior wrestler Beila, who began her career at Rogers Middle School, competed for Prosper High School, and is now in her third and final year with Walnut Grove. Beila finished in the top 8 at the state tournament as a junior.

Amy Alton

Vice President

Recently elected for the current school year, Amy steps into the role of Vice President with energy, experience, and a deep passion for the sport. Over the past two years, she has been a highly involved volunteer, supporting the program in a wide range of events and initiatives.

Amy is the proud mother of two wrestlers: Parker Alton, a rising junior and three year varsity wrestler who qualified for the Texas State Tournament last season, and Peyton Alton, who wrestled for Rogers Middle School and is now entering his first year with Walnut Grove High School Wrestling.

Amy is excited to serve the wrestling community and continue building on the strong foundation of support, teamwork, and excellence that defines the Walnut Grove program.

Amanda Savy

Treasurer

Newly elected as Treasurer, Amanda brings precision, reliability, and a sharp financial mind to the booster club leadership. A professional accountant by trade, Amanda is the detail oriented backbone of the organization, ensuring that everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

Amanda is the proud mother of David. He enters his third year as a high school wrestler, having competed on the varsity team last season.

Known for her tireless work ethic and attention to detail, Amanda is a trusted and invaluable asset to the Walnut Grove wrestling community.

Meagan Luley

Secretary

Newly elected as Secretary, Meagan brings strong organization, energy, and a deep love for the sport of wrestling to the booster club leadership team. Her passion for supporting athletes and growing the program is evident in everything she does.

Meagan is the proud mom of Tatum Luley, a standout varsity wrestler entering her third season. Tatum is a two time Texas State Tournament qualifier who earned an impressive 5th place finish last year, showcasing her skill and determination at the highest level of competition.

Meagan looks forward to helping elevate the Walnut Grove wrestling experience for athletes, families, and fans alike through her service on the board.
